Privacy

Information we collect

If you sign up, we collect the email address you enter, any note you add, and how you arrived: a referral tag in the link you followed (such as a ref or utm_source parameter) and the hostname of the referring site, where your browser provides one. We do not verify email addresses at sign-up.

Our hosting provider records ordinary server logs, which may include your IP address and request details, and the site uses IP addresses to limit request rates. We use this information to operate the site and protect it from abuse.

How we use it

We use the sign-up list to contact you about Cimarron Data. We may use notes to help decide what to build. We do not currently use this information for any other purpose.

Cookies and tracking

The site does not currently use analytics, advertising, third-party scripts, or tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own domain. The only cookie the site sets is a session cookie for people who sign in with a password; ordinary visitors are not issued one.

Service providers and disclosure

We rely on third parties, such as our hosting provider, to run the site and send email; they may process your information on our behalf under their own terms. We may disclose information where we believe the law requires it, or to protect our rights, the site, or others. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

We keep sign-up information until you ask us to remove it or we stop maintaining the list. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period. We may keep information longer where we believe the law requires it. We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no system is completely secure.

Your choices

To be removed from the list, or to ask what we hold about you, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with. If you hear from us and did not sign up, the same applies.

Children

The site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe we have, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest change. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.

Cimarron Data shows reference data about prediction markets, gathered from the public interfaces of venues such as Kalshi and Polymarket US. It is a public preview: features may change, break, or be withdrawn at any time without notice.

No affiliation

Cimarron Data is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Kalshi, Polymarket, or any other venue. Venue names and trademarks belong to their owners and appear here only to identify where a market is listed.

Informational only

Nothing on this site is financial, investment, trading, tax, or legal advice, or an offer or solicitation to buy, sell, or trade anything. Decisions you make based on the site are your own responsibility.

Accuracy

We do not guarantee that anything on the site is accurate, complete, or current. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. A venue's own records control what a market is, how it pays, and when it settles. If this site and a venue disagree, the venue's records govern.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose; scrape, crawl, or send automated requests in a way that burdens or disrupts the service; attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or other access controls; or interfere with the site's operation or security. We may restrict or block access that we believe violates these terms.

Intellectual property

The site's design, text, code, and arrangement of data are owned by Cimarron Data or its licensors. Underlying market data belongs to the respective venues and is subject to their terms. You may view the site for personal, non-commercial use; any other use requires our prior written permission.

Third-party links

The site may link to venues and other third-party websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices. A link does not imply endorsement.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CIMARRON DATA AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR TRADING LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
